was launched in March of 2005 to pursue my passion in the ever-changing automotive market. I have been passionate about cars since I bought my first vehicle at the age of seventeen. I had a 1965 Chevrolet Impala and she was a beauty to look at and the engine sounded great. The seller described it to me as ‘a cream puff’. I had it for only two hours before it literally collapsed on the side of the road due to a rotted frame. I was heartbroken at the time and very embarrassed. I learned a quick lesson about buying a vehicle, and swore that if I had anything to do with it, this would never happen again, to me or anyone else.
My first job was at Cedar Grove Auto Parts, in Cedar Grove, NJ. I then joined my brother in a family run business, Passaic Valley Tire and Auto Service, where I worked my way up to a manager’s position. After several years the family business was sold and I accepted a position at a Ford dealership as a car salesman. I quickly learned and mastered the art of selling honestly and professionally and was soon promoted to Used Car Manager. It was there that I developed my skills in wholesale buying and selling as well as merchandising and marketing of pre-owned vehicles. I learned that the key to any sale is an accurate description of the vehicle. With this honest selling approach, I saw customers coming back over and over again to buy more vehicles for themselves and their family and friends. Over the last quarter-century I have introduced various pre-owned programs into the used car divisions of many dealerships, both domestic and imports.
Automagician has given me the opportunity to create a friendly dealer-to-dealer virtual marketplace. By using my passion for honest automotive transactions I have developed a system that lets you sell or purchase a wholesale vehicle with a full unbiased condition report, letting the buyer purchase sight-unseen and with confidence. Whether you are a buyer and/or a seller, you have the advantage of the auction style setting without you and you vehicles traveling to one, which keeps the detailing in-house, saving you money and allowing your vehicles to stay on your lot for possible retail deals.
My vision is to take the long and timely process of the wholesale transaction out of your hands by inspecting, photographing and monitoring your online wholesale auctions while you attend to other important needs of your dealership.
